Hitachi Warehouse

This project was part of the Bungarribee Estate and was carried by Fresh Landscapes for Taylor Constructions. The project itself was delayed with weather penalties so when it came to the landscape package it was important and necessary to have an over and above attitude from the site staff and management involved.

As the other projects that Fresh Landscapes had completed in the estate the featured ballast bays and eucalyptus trees the main focus was to tie in with the design of the surrounding buildings.

The soil condition of the site was very poor therefore a soil conditioning process was undertaken. To ensure the plant species installed would be able to establish a healthy root system 680 tonnes of organic matter was installed to cope with the challenging weather conditions at Eastern Creek, Sydney.
